The Terra Franca Vinho Regional Tinto is a multi-regional blend of grapes from across Portugal made in the modern São Mateus Vinification Centre in Anadia, Bairrada.
The Baga, Tinta Roriz and Syrah grapes used in the blend are sourced from carefully-selected growers. Baga is a small and thick-skinned indigenous Portuguese grape and brings colour, tannin, acidity and dark fruit aromas to the blend. The Tinta Roriz adds body and the Syrah adds a subtle spiciness.
This wine is ruby red in colour. On the nose, there are ripe red fruit aromas of strawberries and red plums.
On the palate, the ripe fruit flavours are well balanced by juicy tannins and fresh acidity.
A full and flavoursome red, with fresh fruit lingering on the finish.
