30 NOVEMBER 2021, 12pm - 4pmWe're incredibly excited to announce that for our first in-store tasting event, we've snagged the much lauded Newt Cydery from Somerset.
Nestled within the incredible Newt estate, apples from their own 65 acre orchard, where they grow 70 varieties of bittersweet and Somerset apples populated by wild and native bees, are pressed and pumped into their state-of-the-art Cyder Cellar.
Once there, and inspired by the exciting new cyders being created around the world, they apply modern winemaking methods with a focus on fruit quality, fuelled by a passion to showcase the art of West Country cyder.
The result is a range of innovative cyders made from 100% apple juice, with no added sugar or water. Slowly cold-fermented in the cellar for months, sometimes years, for a fresh, aromatic liquor expressing the full flavour of the orchard.
Andrew Green from The Newt will be on hand to lead the tastings and answer your questions.
