NEWSLETTER #8

It's nearly the big day, so a quick reminder of our Christmas opening hours above.

However, you don't have to come to us - we'll come to you. And this month, we're offering free delivery when you spend over £50 to our ENTIRE local delivery area (so thats basically Crowborough, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and parts of Sevenoaks).

So if you don't want to carry it, don't want to go out in to a busy area or just don't have time - simply head over to our online shop and click away and we'll get it out to you! We're now delivering most days between now and Christmas day.

Last deliveries nationwide (via APC) need to be in by the 17th so we can try to ensure they get there on time (the delivery network is slammed as I'm sure you can imagine). For local deliveries, we're delivering all the way through next week, including the 24th - so you can order up until the 23rd and we'll have it to you in time for the big day!

FRESH IN

First up, some Wine. We've restocked for Christmas and we've got some lovely new bits in too, from some restocks on some great wines from Adega de Borba, Piantaferro and Raymond Morin. FIN Wines (we mentioned their ciders last week - also well worth checking out!) are also fresh on the shop, here's a little more about them:

"Fin Wines, a fermentation collective, launched in January 2020 with a range of wines, ciders and piquettes. Fin Wines is producing young, fresh and most importantly fun drinks with an emphasis on drinkability. We are doing this a very lo-fi way in terms of minimal additions, no filtering, spontaneous fermentation, with minimal faffing in the winery...." Learn more about FIN here

We've a couple of brilliant natural wines, including the super tasty Orange Wine, Speedo Gris - and an excellent Pet Nat in a can too!

Plus, don't forget, the ultimate in Christmas drinking, Frederiksdal, with their delicious Cherry Wines that we absolutely love here at Fuggles! Think along the lines of Port/Desert wine - but Cherries and you're about there. Produced in the same manner as wine these have an incredible depth of flavour and make a fantastic post-dinner tipple (or banging Kir Royale!)

Beer wise, we've a lovely little restock from Verdant, which includes the latest releases of Fruit Car and People, Money, Space, Time amongst some others.

And for the first time, we welcome FLOC Brewing to the shop. They've been getting some rave reviews and they're not even techincally fully up and running yet! Having started out as a little brewpub in Margate the guys are now ramping things up having tweaked and played with recipes, they're now contract brewing at Gipsy Hill and these are a couple of their first releases.

Beak are back in too - we've got a couple of fresh Pales in from one of the areas finest breweries - Ladder is a focus on single hopped beers and this IPA features Simcoe this time around. And Sweet Spot is a chance to explore different techniques, this time focussing on creating a higher abv beer without the residual sweetness often found... These can be found alongside a couple of bigger bottles - their first BA Saison - Cedric and their collaboration with Burning Sky & Westwell Wines too...

Finally, and keeping it local, we've got cans coming in from Only With Love too - Floki (a great Kveik IPA) is full of lovely tropical fruit notes, Reboot (think pineapple and melon juice bomb) and Dance Every Day, their house session IPA which we've become big fans of. Also, if you didn't know, we stock their Kombucha too and it's banging! Expect these to hit the shop at some point on Friday...

Plus, watch out later in the week for a fresh drop of Cellar Head and next week we'll some Merakai landing with their latest release!
