NEWSLETTER #44

On the 8th October 2021 we opened on Camden Road. That's a whole year that's gone in the blink of an eye.

To celebrate and to say a massive thank you to all you wonderful and loyal customers, we're running a double points weekend across online and instore.

We're so proud of the community we've built and the friends we've made along the way. So thank you for supporting local and here's to another year of good times and great drinks!

What a blast last night hosting our pals Allkin Brewing and the launch of their first beer Thirst of Many, a juicy pale ale brimming with tropical fruit flavours.

The good news is, if you couldn't make it down, we've got some cans available and despite going through a keg (52 pints) in under 2 hours (!), the Allkin guys brought us a spare so it's available on the tap too for takeout or drink in (whist stocks last!).

A bit special this one and in very limited numbers (3 to be exact), we have a must for Lambic and/or Tilquin fans.

The Meerts Tilquin series (Meerts meaning March beer) was made by fermenting fruit that had already been used once. The fruit was fermented for a period of 4 months in a blend of 80% 1 year old Meerts and 20% of a blend of different 2 year old lambics.

Each box contains 9 bottles made with 9 different fruits.

An absolute whopper of a drop this week from Pressure Drop, everything from a table beer and New England Pale through to a Pina Colada sour and a hefty chocolate fudge Imperial Stout with those masters of dessert stouts, Amundsen.

3 new beers this week from Herfordshire's Baron Brewing.

Mud is a 5.1% roasty stout hopped only with UK Harlequin for bitterness and spice; Funk is a pale with shedloads of tropical funkiness and Still No Cat Chris is a New England IPA based on the first beer ever produced by Baron (still tasty, still no cat).
