NEWSLETTER #23

Firstly, thank you all for your support last week with our drinkersforukraine.com campaign. The beers have flown out and we hope you were also as impressed with the quality as we were! Let's hope we can get more in one day. In the meantime, if you missed out, we've still got some left so there's still time to support! Click here to view the range

Next week Run Club is here too - we've tweaked the timing of it this time around after a few requests and we'll now be leaving the shop at 7pm as this seems to fit in better with everyone.

Don't forget as well, we've new opening hours too! We're now open until 8pm on Thursdays and 9pm on Friday & Saturday - so plenty of time to stock those fridges!

Finally - save the date as on the 21st May we'll be hosting the guys from the wonderful DURATION BREWING CO. They'll be in store for a tasting and to talk to you about their exciting plans for the future - which they want you to be a part of. Watch this space for more news on this in the coming weeks!

This week we've restocked on the mighty VERDANT. We've favourites Lightbulb and Marylou back in - plus, they've done a rather delicious collaboration with Kent based FLOC BREWING to - a punchy DIPA weighing in at 8.5%. They've dry hopped this beer at 3 different temperatures, really pushing the juice on this one!

And if one of the UK's top breweries wasn't enough, we've also grabbed some DEYA for you all too. Firm favourite Steady Rollin' Man is back in along with their new table pale Lil Chu'.

PLUS - Landing with us in time for the weekend we've big drops from local breweries UnBarred and Cloak & Dagger - so watch out for these hitting the shop on Friday.

Well the sun is still out! Last we recommended a few delightful Rose's - this time around, let's talk Riesling. Now, some of you may think Riesling and think about bad German wine, but don't.

Riesling is a really versatile grape and we've got some really quite excellent Riesling from MEIERER. It's really lovely stuff - from their Pet Nat 'OMG' with it's bright, zippy, fruity flavours and a touch of funk, to 'HOPS' - which is their Riesling which they've 'dry hopped' with Mosaic hops. On top of the super fruity style of the Riesling, this adds a really lovely tropical and stone fruit note to the wine.

Finally, the base of it all - their Mosel Riesling. Loads of lovely lime and apple notes, with a good amount of acidity to balance it all out. They're one of our favourites, so get some in your fridge!
