FRESH IN

After last weeks rather fantastic drop featuring some chuffing amazing European breweries and delicious dark beers, this week, we're firmly back on UK soil.

First up: PRESSURE DROP - I mean who doesn't love these guys? We do so we've stocked right up on a few of their latest releases. King Queen Knave is a hazy New England Pale, you know the drill here. Then, Keyboard Club - a beer that started out life as New England but to mix things up they used Kolsch Lager yeast to ferment which brings a slightly different twist to the style, so some clarity and a drier finish. New Kolsch IPA maybe?! Next up, an absolute classic from their range - Alligator Tugboat - a big Simcoe IPA in the West Cioast style, so loads of dankness and tropical fruits. Get in me. Finally, Breakfast Club - a Citra & Galaxy DIPA - a proper juicy number, which may or may not be one of your five-a-day.

THE KERNEL - We don't shout about our love for Evin and the beers his brewery produces. They've also been one of the best UK breweries, they've never followed trends and just stick to producing the best beers they can. We've just a lovely big drop in with restocks across Pale, Table Beer, IPA, Dry Stout and Export Porter. You really can't go wrong with anything they knock out and they're a must have in our fridges.

Then, one of the nicest guys in brewing, Andy Parker of ELUSIVE BREWING dropped off some beers this week for us too! Andy is regarded as one of the UK's best brewers in our eyes and this is because when he brews a style, he nails that style on a technical level. This is why his West Coast IPA - Oregon Trail - is probably one of the best in the UK. Naturally when they release a twist on this it makes sense to try that too, so you may be wise to pick up Tornado Alley as well and do a side by side comparison. They've also brewed up a banging Belgian IPA with Solvay Society too, In Silico. I love a big hoppy Belgian IPA, the Belgian yeast really adds to interesting and fun fruity notes to the beer and adds a great dryness to the beer too.

GIPSY HILL are in too - they've just brewed a delightful Bitter, Masher - full of subtle spicy notes and hedgerow berries. They also brew some of best Pales and IPA's in the UK - Harmoniser gives off loads of lovely tropical fruits and white grape notes whilst Distributor is a big DIPA brewed with Verdant yeast. It's a rebrew of a beer from last year and it's really quite excellent thanks to liberal use of Cryo Mosaic and Citra hops.

There's also plenty more from many of our favourites too , including a lovely collaboration between WILD BEER CO & SAINT MARS OF THE DESERT. This Belgian-esque Saison-IPA hybrid has been hopped through 3 coolships - loads of pineapple, mango and bitter orange. Sounds mad, but it isn't, it's brilliant.
