NEWSLETTER #13

This years PUTTY release is here from Verdant. We've managed to secure a limited amount of this fantastic DIPA, showcasing the wonderful Galaxy hop.

Putty was originally conceived as a special beer to serve to people at the inaugural @hopcityleeds festival back in 2017. Verdant wanted to take something that would stand shoulder to shoulder with the big boys and girls in the hazy world.

5 years later, Putty’s recipe has remained untouched from the first brew, with Galaxy, Mosaic and Azacca hops being stars of the Putty show.

We'll be releasing it on general sale on Friday morning.

FRESH IN

This week we've some lovely bits in from one of Bristol's finest - ARBOR. Saison DuPink is a lovely Belgian style Saison brewed with pink peppercorns. Then we have their Extra Special Bluesky - a ramped up version of their excellent Bitter, Bluesky. Sean Of The Red is a lovely drinker too - a well hopped, fruity red ale (one of my favourite styles actually) And for you hopheads, we've got the well hopped Shangri-La, My Little Sabrony (showcasing the Sabro hop), Massive Azzacc (showcasing Azzacca) and Shambala IPA too... And yes, these are all great names for beers too (and in pint cans!)

Allkin (the guys from Good Things Brewing) are back with their latest collab too. This time they've been up to Cheltenham to brew a DIPA with DEYA - this one leaning a bit more to the west coast than the east in style. Loads of pineapple and some firm bitterness on this one!

Bedlam Brewery are now in the shop too, including their rather moreish 'Sussex Smokie' collaboration with Toast Ale - brewed using waste bread and beechwood smoked malt.

In bigger and darker news - Vault City have done a rather delicious collaboration with Nerd Brewing. The result is 'Karleksmums Stout' - a beer based on a classic Scandinavian cake. Oozing with loads of chocolate notes, vanilla and coffee.

Top ups too from Tegernseer and Utopian - two of our favourite Lager breweries.
