As proud Pohjala Ambassadors here at Fuggles we're stoked to be part of this years Baltic Porter Day.

Baltic Porter is a style that has been an important part of Pöhjala's story since day one, and this year they're beginning an annual celebration of that -  Baltic Porter Day! Please join us for the celebrations on Saturday 15th January and share their love of long dark nights and strong beers!

Tartu, Estonia is considered one of the original birthplaces of what would become known as Baltic Porter, and the style has remained an important part of Estonian beer heritage ever since.
Hence, why at Pöhjala they knew that their very first brew, ‘Oo’, must be an Imperial Baltic Porter which they have brewed continuously since that day and had the pleasure of spreading their love for the style across the globe.

A true celebration of the Baltic Porter, this beer features a luxuriously rich malt base with flavours, of toasted rye bread, red berries, and dark chocolate and aged on Palo Santo wood. Native to South America and known as the "holy wood" in Spanish, this adds aromatic notes of vanilla, toasted almonds, eucalyptus and fresh mint, with a long, smooth finish.

This week we're bringing you the Full Moon Set from Verdant. They've brewed a wonderful trilogy of this Citra & Strata hopped pale at 3 different abv's - a pale at 4.5% and IPA at 6.5% and a DIPA at 8%. As ever, expect the usual high quality from the Verdant team - loads of tropical juicy fruit and some dankness from the Citra. We've a limited number of the full set available here too, so grab them whilst they last!

Pressure Drop are back in too with a reload on one of favourites, the ever crushable 'Pale Fire'. 'Journeyman' joins the line up - an IPA brewed with Galaxy, Idaho 7, Ekuanot and HBC586 hops - loads of juice and a smooth finish here.

We've also added to our rather outstanding Alcohol Free range - this time with Gipsy Hill who have brewed two crackers from their Squashed range of fruited sours. We've got a Peach Bellini inspired beer alongside a Raspberry, Ligonberry & Blackberry edit. Hugely impressed with these!

And from Alcohol Free to lots of alcohol, we've got some big beers in from Lervig, Delirium and De Ranke - both in abv and size. From barrel aged Delirium Tremens through to the Lervig Rackhouse Series (Bourbon BA Barley Wine anyone?) there's some crackers sitting there, perfect for aging and saving or sharing with a pal!

We've got a fantastic selection of low and no-alcohol options for you this month. Gone are the days of boring, naff tasting alcohol free beer.

Things have come on a long way in this category over the years - advances in technology, equipment, brewing skill and know how now mean we've got some really great tasting options for you.

Here's some of our favourites that really tick our boxes - plus, if you fancy exploring a trying a few, why not pick up our mixed alcohol free box?
